Future Values with Faye Lincoln
Sunday, April 28th • Kol Ami
9:30am – 10:00am Light Breakfast North Multi-Purpose Room
10:00am – 11:30am Lecture Pepper Beit Midrash
The world appears to be in chaos and it’s hard to make sense of it all! But underneath society’s accelerating change, driven by shifts in global geopolitics and changing technology, a new order is beginning to develop. Using powerful visuals, we will connect the dots to understand the impact of these changes.
This lecture, part of a monthly series, will apply a new model of future values through the lens of Jewish values to supply chain constraints between the US and China by focusing on:
– Electric vehicle growth in China and the US
– Semiconductors and the link to Taiwan
– Bringing advanced manufacturing back to the US through public policy
– Israel’s leadership role in research and development in these industries
Upcoming Dates
June 2nd, August 18th, September 22nd
About the Author and Speaker, Faye Lincoln
Cultural ethicist Faye Lincoln has worked in high-level public policy and government relations for three decades. Over time, she developed a deep interest in the history and geopolitics of the Middle East and Europe. She has focused on the effects of converging religious, political, technological, and economic structures of society and culture. Lincoln views Biblical history through the lens of her second generation Holocaust experience. Her first book of insight is Values that Shape the World: Ancient Precepts, Modern Concepts. In her work, Lincoln dissects and intersects millennia of history in the context of the Jewish values that have driven and continue to drive the evolution and revolution of today’s highly-volatile world. The book ranked in Amazon's Top 10 in two vital categories, Jewish History and Christian Commentaries.
